At Kozy Acres Pet Cemetery and Crematory you will find true compassion for both you and your deceased pet. We are located on 12 acres in a picturesque country setting outside of Chicago. In the spring of 1981, after a couple of years of planting and landscaping, the very first Pet was interred into Kozy Acres Pet Cemetery. There are now over 1300 grave sites memorializing the Family Pet. The Crematorium was started after inquiring about the "Pet after death care industry". Kozy Acres was not looking to get into the business of cremation, but only wanted to be able to refer clients to an honest Pet Crematorium. The more they found out the more frustrated they became. The majority of these Family Pets, that were to be given proper dignified disposition by a Pet Crematorium, were in fact, handled by a Pet Disposer or Animal Broker. As a loving Pet owner, you must demand the right to be present for your Pets Private Cremation. You must demand in writing from your after death care provider, that a Pet destined for group cremation will not be resold, rendered, or dumped in landfill or mass incineration. If you cannot get this in writing, call Kozy Acres.
