 Because Tom was angry about Gatsby, he

 Uncover the truth about Gatsby, in front of daisy

 Calling him a bootlegger and making

 Him look like a liar

 About being an oxford man, and then Tom

 Now claims that he will take better care of her

 Although he admitted cheating on her before and

 Now tom is confident that Daisy won’t want to be with Gatsby anymore.

 

 Desperate to go home

 And get away because she is so nervous and

 In her mind she is so confused, also

 She is so terrified of what is

 Yet to happen between tom and Gatsby.

 

 Gatsby is embarrassed and

 Angry that tom revealed the

 Truth about Gatsby—the great Gatsby

 So. He is in a panic

 Because he knows Daisy won’t look at him the same way and

 Yes, he is still going to try and have her.
