Dan enters his sixth full season of pro hockey. He played the majority of last season with the Falcons and was an assistant captain with Springfield, but also spent time with the Phoenix Coyotes. Dan led the Falcons in plus/minus last season recording a team high +14 rating. Dan was recalled by Phoenix for the first time on December 14, 2001 and made his NHL debut on December 15, 2001 against Dallas. He made his Stanley Cup Playoff debut as a member of the Coyotes last season collecting one assist against San Jose. During the 1999-00 season, he tied a career high for goals in a season with two and set career highs for assists in a season (9) and points in a season (11). Dan started the 1999-00 season with Jokerit of the Finnish Elite League before being reassigned to the Falcons on October 15, 1999. He is currently 3rd on the Falcons all-time games played list (261) and 3rd on the Falcons all-time penalty minutes list (561 pims).
