When my mom heard John Mayer one time I was listening
to his music, she said his voice wasn't any good at all.
Sure he's no Frank Sinatra, but it's his songwriting skills
that we're after right? And he doesn't sing that bad.
In fact, he doesn't sing bad at all. I'd like to think of it as husky.
He has recently won a Song of the Year Grammy
for his song Daughters. I was so pleasantly surprised
coz he had really tough competition (Alicia Keys and the like).
Now that's cool. :)
