Movies. Just movies.
I have reason to believe that anybody who has been able
to encounter this Korean film has been unable to not have
a special seat for it in his collection of movies. If
somebody says he didn't like it, he's lying. I don't mean
to sound so snooty, but come on! Don't you just love this
film? (if you've seen it ^^)
This isn't really a movie, but a local short film. Yes,
local, as in Pinoy, bai.
If the mere thought of another Asian horror flick makes
you nauseated, give this one a chance. It's really, really
good. The effects were mind-blowing. The plot keeps you
in a state of thought days after watching it. Not bad
acting, too. This movie is the next Ring. I loved it
as much as I do golf.
Have no idea who or what I'm talking about? Sigh. (@_@)
Weiss Kreuz, which is German for "white cross", is a
Japanese animated series conceptualized by Koyasu
Takehito (*^_^*), who also happens to be the voice
behind my fave redhead assassin Fujimiya Aya.
"And they lived happily ever after.
Except for the painful rabies shots."
Recently I have watched and re-watched a couple of movies,
old and new.
I thought I'd like to put some of them here.
My Sassy Girl
My Sassy Girl tells the story of Gyun Woo, your typical
student who slacks off and often drinks with his friends;
and his girlfriend, with her unbelievable (but apparently
not impossible) antics.
When I first saw this film, it was not an English-subtitled
version. But "actions speak louder than words" has never
applied better. Needless to say I liked it a lot (despite
knowing zilch about Korean), coz about a year later I
jumped at the chance to catch an English-subtitled copy
from my classmate during my first year in university.
Yehey! And yes, only then did the movie appear
reasonable. (^.^)

The Curse
Now what did your mother tell you about reading other
people's diaries?
Weiss Kreuz OAV
This is a treat for fans of these four florists by day and
assassins by night,
if the animated series left you wanting
more.

The beginnings of the video can be very misleading.
But as it progresses you begin (at least I did) to smell
something fishy. Scenes that stand out include "the big
fight" between our white hunters of evil, with that
annoying whining made by Omi about having to do it
("We're friends!"), and Ken finishing a headshot with a
mad look on his face. *shudders*
Aya, self-declared defender of justice
(sheesh, he should be American)
