It not last for long - today was yamadori hunting day again! Me and Tomaž were looking around in my red pines finding place. This place is extraordinary! In the summer there will be enough time for discovering first class yamadoris which will be then collected at appropriate time. This time I returned home with small red pine and a surprise - mugo pine. This tree will be a fine shonin someday.

Prav dolgo nisem zdržal;  danes je bil spet dan za lov na jamadorije. S Tomažem sva sicer predvsem spoznavala lovišče rdečih borov, ki obeta izjemne najdbe. Čez poletje bo dovolj časa, da ga podrobno preiščem in se ob primernem letnem času vrnem po kapitalce. Tokrat sem se vrnil z malim rdečim borom in presenečenjem - mugotom, ki bo nekoč morda postal prvovrsten šonin.

Sometimes I hear a reproach that I have eyes only for trees. But this is not true. I watch and see the whole nature. Here is the proof - this little fellow, salamander, is a evidence that waters on that area are still clean. And that is good. Really good.

Včasih slišim očitke, da nimam oči za nič drugega, kot za drevesa. Pa ni res. Za naravo. Vso naravo. Tule je dokaz - tale stric, močerad, dokazuje, da so vode na tem območju še vedno čiste. To je dobro. Res dobro.

In the afternoon I was in Domžale repoting a small ficus. Unbelievable is that they sell trees in pots without drainage holes! And this was not the first time I saw that. How many flowers they put in such pots? But this is bonsai and of course that is something different ... Outrageous!

Popoldne sem se oglasil še v Domžalah, kjer sem presajal mali industrijski fikus. Neverjetno je, da prodajajo rastline posajene v posode brez drenažnih lukenj! S takšnimi primeri sem se srečal že večkrat. Prav zanima me, koliko običajnih rož so že posadili v take posode. Ker pa je to bonsaj, je seveda to čisto nekaj drugega ... Za znoret!
