In the right light I did some decent photos of Taxus. It is looking quite good. When dead wood will be painted with lime sulfur and the crown will be finished it will look cool. Even in too big pot!

Ob pravi svetlobi sem napravil še nekaj slik tise. Sej niti ne izgleda tako slabo. Ko pobarvam šarije in džine in zdefiniram krošnjo bo prav kul. Pa čeprav v preveliki posodi!

Tempo is still high. Yesterday I returned favour to Matej and we repoted his Chamaecyparis into first bonsai pot. Unbelievable how many roots was in that bad soil. It was hard to imagine how we can put the tree into desired pot.

Tempo ne popušča. Včeraj sem potem vračal uslugo Mateju in v prvo bonsajsko posodo sva presadila njegovo pacipreso. Neverjetno, koliko korenin je bilo v tisti ilovnati zemlji. Težko si je bilo predstavljati, da bova drevo spravila v zamišljeno posodo.

But we did it. We cut off surplus of roots, but there was still plenty of them.

Pa je le šlo. Porezala sva odvečne korenine, pa jih je še ostalo več kot dovolj.

Today's story was completely different. Jan came by and we did a good preparation, because we expected the same condition in training pot. First we choose the right pot (Tomaz was helping) and then we went to Tomaz's garden to wash the roots. But there was a surprise! Chamaecyparis dropped out of the training pot almost without any roots, but the remaining was healthy. And there was no problem with repoting. We spent a lot of time packing akadama between the roots again.

Povsem drugačna je bila današnja zgodba z Janovo pacipreso. Opravila sva obširne priprave, saj sva pričakovala enako stanje v posodi. Najprej sva ob pomoči Tomaža skrbno izbrala posodo, potem pa smo se odpravil na Tomažev vrt, kjer smo hoteli sprati korenine. Kakšno presenečenje! Pacipresa je iz trening posode padla z le nekaj koreninskimi laski, vendar so bili ti zdravi. In s presajanjem v posodo ni bilo težav. Spet smo veliko pozornosti posvetili trpanju akadame med korenine.

Every tree has a different story. And I am a very lucky man, because this stories fill out most of my time!

Vsako drevo je torej posebna zgodba. In vesel sem, da te zgodbe napolnjujejo večino mojega časa!
