| Dr. Kotur S. Narasimhan was the Director of the Central Fuel Research Institute (CFRI), Dhanbad, India, from 1992 to 1998. Earlier he was a scientist at the Regional Research Laboratory (RRL-B), Bhubaneswar, India. Both CFRI and RRL-B are constituent institutions of the Council of Scientific & Industrial Research (CSIR) of the Ministry of Science & Technology, Government of India. He has more than 100 scientific & technical publications and has authored and edited several monographs and symposium proceedings. Energy, Environment and Economics are areas of his professional interests and is currently devoted in promoting the use of coal as a primary energy source and ready to serve any cause in this direction.. |
