Responsibilities: As chief executive responsible for planning and execution of nationally important result oriented projects with customer interface relating to characterization, preparation, carbonization, combustion and conversion of coal including development of clean coal technologies, waste utilization and energy efficiency.

 

Concurrently, Adjunct Professor in the Department of Fuels & Mineral Engineering, at the Indian School of Mines, Dhanbad, India.

Responsibilities: Process and equipment development, project engineering relating to the utilization of natural resources, particularly of minerals including coal; Laboratory investigations, pilot plant studies and scale-up; Areas of specialization include comminution, agglomeration, drying, flotation; During this period, functioned as Metallurgical Advisor in the Mineral Development Board, Ministry of Steel, Government of India for 2 years in 1983 – 84.
