Norse gods

Odin- father of the gods and men and husband of Frigg.  Usually depicted as a greybearded man, tall and thing, with a blue black cloak and an eyepatch or hat to hide his missing eye.  Originally god of death, later god of magic, battle, poetry, and the warrior's fury.

Thor - son of Odin and Earth.  Husband of Sif, father of Thrudur, Modi, and Magni.  Depicted as a large strong man with red hair and beard and fiery eyes.  God of the common man.

Loki - Son of Jotunn Farbauti and Laufrey, father of Midgardsormur, fenrisulfur, Hel, Narim and Vali.  Husband of Sigyn.  became a god when he fraternized with Odin.  Was portrayed as a good looking young man.

Freyja - Wildest of the goddesses, free with her sexual favous, mistress of Odin and several gods and men.  skilled at consciousness-altering magic called seidhr.  Most beautiful of the goddesses, sister or Frey, daughter of Njord, married to Odur.  Goddess of riches.

Baldur - Son of Odin and Frig, husband of Nanna Nepsdottir, father of Forseti.  Most beautiful of the gods.  shows that the gods know they are mortal, since the only story about him is about his death.

Frigg - Wife od Odin, supreme goddess of Asatru, daughter of Fjorgyn, "the earth", mother of Baldur.  she is a seer and knows all fates, but seldom speaks of them.  Goddess of childbirth, the home, and household magics.

Tyr - Son of Odin.  Most courageous and boldest of the gods, as well s being very smart.  God of Justice and war.
Yggdrasil:  the tree of life and universe.  supports the world.
