About Kosmic Komps Gymnastics
Kosmic Komps Gymnastics has been an NTC-affiliated gym since September 2005, when Head Koach Katrina Anderson opened it to hold competitions and whatnot. The first elite gymnasts of Kosmic Komps were Dyana Ferdinez and Alison Maloney. Dyana and Alison since have both picked up to coaching at the gym and are both members of the University of Michigan gymnastics team. In 2005, Kosmic Komps was actually called Kosmic Kompetitions Arena, but that soon changed and since then Kosmic has been Kosmic Komps Gymnastics. This gym has helped the careers of many gymnasts, including junior national team member Cassandra Fontaine and former junior national team member Brittany Syanor. Also, in both 2006 and 2007, the gym ended up sending three girls to nationals. Though it's not the most prestigious gym in the United States, it still is the only elite gym in Region 5, and is still a great gym.
