personality: rei is a very... um... interesting person. she likes to pick on usagi, and is nearly as strict as ami. her father is a politician, so he's never home. after her mother died, she went to live with her grandfather at his shito temple, the hikawa (cherry hill) shrine. it says in the manga that she only sees her father one a year, on her birthday. in the manga, she is determined never to fall in love. she is, however, at the end of manga 11 (casablanca memory), shown to be in love with her father's assistant, mr. kaido. when he decides to be a politician and get married, she says to him "if you were going to be a politician, if you were going to be papa's successor, you could have married me."
mars is a strong fighter. she is loyal to her friends, and even though she picks on usagi, they are still very close friends. when tuxedo kamen is taken away in the first season, sailormars slaps sailormoon, tells her to pull herself together, and get tuxedo kamen back. then you notice that she, too is crying, and her tears are just as heavey as sailormoon's. (in the anime, she has dated mamoru, making usagi completely jealous.)
mars is often said to be a loner, and before she met the other senshi, she was really only friends with her two ravens, phobos and deimos.
and everyone knows she's really in love with yuuichiro kumada. (wink)
