the sailormoon courtyard, or TSMCY, started as a small, poorly constructed homestead sitebuilder site, located here. i started to really get better at large, full-background layouts. they actually started to look similar to the ones that the big-name sailormoon fansites had. (think like the now defunct chibichibi.net/chibi.nu) but then i realized that there was NO WAY that they would fit in any screen resolution under 1024*768. (i still have that problem... but i'm trying!!) and then TRADGEDY struck-- homestead.com was losing money, and it was serious. they were going to start charging, nearly as much as it would cost to buy your own domain. they offered a "preview" system to existing members that wouldn't- or couldn't pay. they limited you to 8 "FREE" megs of space, and a site that could only consist of an index page and two others. (still not as bad as expages, i suppose...)
so as you may have guessed, i abandoned that crap-hole, and moved to geocities. you can see that here. still, i used terrible, horrid full-page layouts. and i used PAGEBIULDER. man, i was cool. but then, you see, i got my act together and finally learned that thing called HTML. so now you see it, in its full beautiosity, THE SAILORMOON COURTYARD. (yay!!)
