We meet on the third Saturday of each month beginning at 10am. . All members are obligated to attend, including aspirants. Guests are welcome with the approval of one of the council members.
10:00-10:20 - Silent Prayer
10:20-Noon: Formation meeting. Usually there is a presentation on our formation reading and then we split into groups based on our stage of formation for further discussion and sharing on the formation material.
Noon-1pm: Lunch. This is a sack lunch and gives us a chance for fellowship.
1pm-2pm: Presentation and discussion on our spiritual reading. Since our formation reading usually deals with some of the fundamental writings of our saints, this reading can range from the writings of our lesser known saints, books relating to Carmelite spirituality, or the minor works of Teresa and John.
2pm-3pm: Short break and then presentation and discussion of a Church document. Recently we've been working our way through the documents of Vatican II although we've taken a brief "detour" to study our Constitutions and proposed Provincial Statutes.
3pm-3:30pm: After another short break, we have our business meeting with reports from the President, Treasurer, Formation Director, Spiritual Assistant, Liturgist, Hospitality, Infirmarian, and any other announcements or concerns of the community.
We close our meetings with Evening Prayer.
