02.24.03 Korn Wins Grammy

Congratulations to Korn for taking home a Grammy for Best Metal Recording this year for "Here to Stay."

02.21.03 Twilight Zone Theme

Jonathan Davis, has re-recorded the theme song for UPN's "The Twilight Zone." The new recording will make its debut on Wednesday, February 26th, 9pm - 10pm ET/PT on UPN opening an original episode featuring Eriq La Salle, Vivica A. Fox, Wayne Knight and Bonnie Sommerville.

Davis comments: "I thought it would be a great opportunity for me do something cool with the music for the show. I watched 'The Twilight Zone growing up as a kid because that's the kind of stuff I'm into."

The sound of Davis' remake is "darker toned...There are a whole bunch of heavy guitars and big drums on it...The opening is dark and eerie since 'The Twilight Zone' is a place where anything can happen, and it's usually something twisted and dark. I want to make the visuals pop out and give you that eerie 'Twilight Zone' vibe."
Davis adds: "I've been a fan of the show since I was a kid.... I'm a huge fan. I remember plenty of episodes that scared the hell out of me. Which is cool. I like that."

04.12.02 KORN CANCEL FIVE FINAL U.S. DATES OF "POP SUX! TOUR"

KORN have been forced to cancel the five remaining U.S. dates on their North American POP SUX! TOUR, due to the strained vocal cords of KORN lead singer JONATHAN DAVIS. Under the advisement of his vocal coach and doctors, these dates must be cancelled to prevent permanent damage to DAVIS' vocal cords. But in order not to disappoint their Canadian fans, the group--vocalist DAVIS, guitarists MUNKY and HEAD, bassist FIELDY and drummer DAVID SILVERIA--will move forward with Wednesday and Thursday's Canadian shows. Wednesday's performance at the Air Canada Centre in Toronto and Thursday's show at the Bell Center in Montreal are rescheduled dates from the first leg of KORN's U.S. trek earlier this year.

25.11.02 New Elementree/Geffen Records artist MARZ to hit the road with KORN on the Pop Sux Tour

The tour will feature special guest DJ Sid (#0) from Slipknot performing w/ MARZ

If you took the heaviness and aggression of Ministry, and mixed it with the rawness of DMX, you would get an idea of what MARZ sounds like. Marz is on tour with KORN and TRUSTcompany from November 24-December 12. The upcoming album, produced by Jonathan Davis of KORN, will be released on Elementree/Geffen Records in 2003.
