Nyteshade is the Queen Rat of our rattery. No rat messes with her! It's like she carries a sign that says "I am the dominate female here, and no one can change that" LOL! Nyteshade, called Nyte for short, is a black berksire and is about 1 1/2 years old. We almost lost Nyte the first day we got her, I was taking her out of the car, and the lid to her cage poped off, and she fell to the ground...luckly she ran right up my leg and I was able to grab her! She didn't let that crazy experiance ruin her love for people and Is still the same loving rat she has alway been! Nyte is not one of our breeders, as she was too old to start breeding when we got into breeding rats.
