Meilin Li comes to Tomoeda Elementary as an exchange student from Hong Kong. The only real reason she goes to Japan is for Syaoran Li (her cousin/fiance, who views her as more of a sister), which only leads to more problems for him and even more competition for Sakura. Meilin tries to outdo Sakura in EVERYTHING, due to the fact that despite she's a descendant of Clow Reed, she possesses no magical power whatsoever, so she tends to excel in physical activities such as martial arts. Meilin always comes off as bratty and stuck-up whenever she tries to help w/ capturing the Clow Cards. Here's a brief factoid sheet on Miss Mei herself:
