Research Interests: ¨ Polymer Chemistry, Membrane Separations Technology and Membrane Material Science. ¨ Synthetic polymeric membranes: preparation and modification especially via interfacial polymerization and grafting; membrane transport and thermodynamic properties. ¨ Membrane-based separations of gas/vapors and liquids (ultra- & nanofiltration, reverse osmosis), gas-liquid contactor systems, bioreactors for ground water purification and decontamination. ¨ Polymer functionalization, coating, covalent attachment of biomolecules to a polymer. Sensor devices and bioassays related to it. |
