Things have been pretty hectic lately, but I just wanted to update and catch up with you all. Since my last entry, and getting through the "Birthday Season", as I call it, has been fun, interesting, and tiring. You know what they say about time flying. The birthdays went very well. Both my boyfriend and I had our birthdays...yeah, what do you get when you put two Tauruses together?....2X the Bull!! I got some new toys. A Sony PSP with the Sims 2 (my favorite game), and the new Sims 2 expansions that I didn’t have yet for the PC. It’s been fun playing the game, but the reasons I got the PSP were not only for that, but also the MP3 player, and movie player all rolled into one. Now Aspen can watch movies on our future road/plane trips to visit family.

I have been instigating a few minor changes in my life recently...I have started seriously planning my financial, educational and career future which has taken up a bit of my leisure time. I have a good budget that I think I can stick to. My past tuition bill to the U of U is almost paid off, which will enable me to obtain my transcripts. I will be applying for UNLV and attending spring semester 2007, starting in January. Also, I’m saving to buy a new car. Hopefully I’ll get one by the end of the year as well. After this goal, I will be saving to buy a home. When I graduate, I’ll be making a lot more money and want to buy a house in Henderson. So...I will be living the simple life for a while, but I know it will be worth the effort.

I’ve also started back on my exercise and diet program, and already feel better having more energy. I just need to stick with it. It’s worth it!
