I AM...
...an equestrian...
...a green belt in tae kwon do...
...a lacrosse player...
...a country music fan...
...a Desperate Housewives addict...
...and last but not least, what this assignment is really about, I am a logical/mathematical learner. Before I took the survey, I thought of myself as mainly logic, word and people smart. After I took the survey, I found out I was right. However, I thought music smart would be one of my weakest intelligences, and it scored right up there with interpersonal (aka people, one of my strongest.) I also thought nature smart would be one of my weakest, but the survey didn't include nature. The survey says my weakest intelligences are spatial, intrapersonal and bodily-kinesthetic, all of which I thought would be higher than music. Guess all that country music pays off...
So based on all this, what strategies will be best for me to learn chemistry? What techniques, types of assignments and assessments will let me show my genious to everyone? Well, I can't say I came to any amazing conclusions after taking that very informative 3 minute survey. I can tell you, however, that I'm quite content with the way class is currently being taught. As long as Mr. Perrin doesn't start teaching like some other teachers I've had, who shall remain nameless to protect the crazy/not fun, I think this block 1 chemistry class will go smoothly with no major complaints from this equestrian/green belt/lacrosse player/country music fan/Desperate Housewives addict/logical mathematical learner.
