| Dragon Ball Z is a show that always has some sort of epic battle between Good vs Evil. This struggle is represented through fighters who have the ability to hone their "chi" or "spiritual energy" into Ki-blasts, basically a laser beam. The Good is always trying to prevail against Evil, and vise versa. The Evil characters such as Freiza, Cell, Majin-Buu, they all strive toward the goal of destroying man-kind for either the purpose of revenge, or for the shear joy of it. Goku, who portrays several commons with Jesus, is always the one who makes the noble sacrifice, or destroys the Evil to save the Earth. An example of this is during one episode when Cell uses a last ditch effort to blow up the Earth, Goku uses his teleportation ability, and takes Cell with him to a distant planet so that when he explodes, the Earth is no longer in danger. When people die in Dragon Ball Z, depending on their actions and their heart, they either go to "Heaven", or the Supreme Kai's world, or they go to Hell where they suffer for eternity. The two major differences here is that the good guys who die and go to Heaven, are able to be wished back to life and brought to Earth through what are known as Dragon Balls. When seven of these are gathered, a dragon appears, and grants wishes to the people who summoned him. However the people who go to Hell, cannot be wished back. | ||
