These were taken much further down the valley near the foot of the hill where the OP was.
This picture is somewhat of a puzzle to me. The OP is visible on the far left along with the temple. I think this is looking north and northeast, but we can't see Papasan. I think its off the picture to the left. The hills in the background may be part of Boomerang or some other UN position during the war. I don't know. There is clearly a structure on the small hill in the center. The straight line mound in the middleground is a mystery to me. I suspect its a berm or dam.
From the right of the bus. So it's looking south or east.
