M.V. Anscomb Sinks! On Sunday, January 11, 2004 the Anscomb suddenly sank and now lies at the bottom of Kootenay Lake. The current owners had hoped to refurbish the boat and operate it as a floating resturant and possibly casino. It is somehow fitting that this piece of recent history sits at the bottom of the lake that she served so well. It is a better end for her than at sometime being cut up as scrap metal.
