KOOSPEM LODGE
Koospem Lodge is located in Addison Vermont, about 200 yards from the shore of Lake Champlain, and 7 minutes walk to the beach.
It is in a great central location, 6 miles north of the Crown Point Bridge, 15 minutes drive to Basin Harbor VT, 20 minutes to either Middlebury VT or Fort Ticonderoga NY, and 35 minutes to Burlington. Koospem is 15 minutes from Amtrak in Port Henry NY, where there is daily train service between New York and Montreal.

To the west, Koospem has awesome views of Lake Champlain and the Adirondack Mountains of New York. To the east you may watch a spectacular sunrise over the Green Mountains.

The Lodge is situated on 10 acres, adjacent to a farm.
Koospem sleeps 5, and has 2 bedrooms, each with a double bed. A futon sleeps an additional person.
It has a dining room, a living room with a cathedral ceiling and gas fireplace, 1/1/2 baths, a stunning view of the lake and mountains from the upstairs level, sliders to the deck, and a screened porch. The kitchen is equipped with stove, refrigerator, microwave, coffeemaker, pots and pans, dishes and utensils. The lodge has satellite TV, and is very comfortably furnished. Everything is included except linens and towels. Koospem is smoke free and pet free.

Koospem is located directly on the Lake Champlain Bicycle route. It is centrally located, and nearby you will find good hiking, swimming, canoeing and kayaking, birding, fishing, tennis, golf, museums, and good restaurants. (Try some Blueberry Wine at the nearby Charlotte Village Winery). Within a half hour drive there are 5 state parks and a wildlife refuge.
Cultural events can be found in Vergennes, and also in Middlebury and Burlington which are college towns.The historical sites of Ticonderoga, Crown Point, and others are within an easy drive.

You have your choice of many outdoor activities, or you may just prefer to relax with a good book and view the lake.

For the 2009 season, the rent is $975 per week, or $1795 for a two week period. A deposit of $200 will insure your reservation.
