Personal History:
Tarin escaped from the work camps when she was 16 and joined the Shakar Resistance Cell. There she befriended a young lady named Kira Narys and the two became close friends. When the occupation ended, Nerys went to work on Terok Nor, now Deep Space Nine, and Tarin went to the Starfleet Academy. There she met a young man by the name of Tal Breno. They talked of marriage, but the newly graduated Ensign Tal was called away by Starfleet. Tarin was crushed and, soon after she graduated, she resigned her commision in Starfleet to work on a small medical transport. When the captain of the transport ship retired, she surprisingly left the ship in Tarin's hands. She commanded the Respite for only a few 
months before running into Tal Breno, now a Ltjg, on Risa. She left the ship in her first officer's hands and joined Tal on the Horizon. Starfleet reaccepted her, but did not make her an officer. She is now Head Nurse on the Horizon. Tal and Tarin were married on SD 49701.25. The couple gave birth to twins on SD 49709.13 (
).
Tarin has a gift for medicine, and was attending the Starfleet Medical Academy before she resigned. She has a charming bedside manner and a fierce dedication to her work.
