Some python antics photographed at the Koonorigan farm.

No snakes on this page were injured in the filming.

Diamond python seeks the shady side of a fence post on a hot day.
Some old round fence posts are hollowed out and Eastern Rosellas nest in them. Local python checks it out.
A hot tin roof is a ducky place to warm up. This bloke looks like he has eaten a rat or two.

 The scene:

Gutter is overflowing, I go up to unblock it, find a snake is creating a living dam - very laconic.

Decide drinking water would be improved if same was persuaded to leave. Use boat hook to hoik beastie out (very much at arms length as snake was 2.5m long).

Big python explores inside of garage. Disappeared into the rolladoor.

Diamond python climbs tree, decides to check out roof. Roof too bloody hot, decides to return back across the 1.2m gap but loses support when 2.5 metres of body is unsupported.

Loses dignity but not grip on tree as 1m of tail is still gripping.

This was a big snake.
