Based in the Byron Bay hinterland, Northern Rivers artist and bead worker ROS LOKOLLO has spent 21 years perfecting her craft since early work in beaded jewellry whilst living in Bali. Ros creates intricate and decorative body wear such as necklaces, bracelets, earrings, collars, belts and broaches as well as more functional pieces - keyrings, hangings, doilies and coasters.
Her influences are widespread. Often inspired by dreams, she draws on the ocean colours and earth tones of nature, on floral themes and emblems, on ethnic colours and designs. Whether contemporary or classical in influence, Ros is capable of varying her pieces to suit any taste.
