Another Kool & The Gang duo album year hooray.
In October, 1976 (Kool & The Gang official site) only five months after "Love & Understanding" comes this classic (I've never heard it but Im sure it's true since it chated #10 R&B and #110 Pop) album that got it's title track on the Saturday Night Fever soundtrack the next year.
Since I haven't heard it I cannot determine it's theme but Im sure it's something incredibly enlightening. The tracks released included "Open Sesame" parts 1 and 2 making both sides (that reached #6 R&B #55 Pop) and "Super Band" that reached #17 R&B #101 Pop (I have seen a source naming the B-side as "Sunshine" another that names it as "Open Sesame" - the later also names "Super Band"/"Open Sesame (12" version) which may be causing the confusion. Of course there must be others that I don't know.
