Kool & The Gang's fifth compilation and also my first Kool & The Gang tape.
I'm really glad I've got this on De-Lite tape so I can tell you information on the original rather then the extended Mercury re-issue. However due to the fact that the tape appears to play the tracks faster then a CD would the times I give you on this site are most probably slightly behind but I will inform you of this wherever required.
The compilation contains the twelve inch version of "Open Sesame" (probably for the first time) the single length versions of "Spirit Of The Boogie", "Caribbean Festival" and Love And Understanding (part 1) (at least I presume it's part 1 - it's like the original 12" extended version only it gets cut off by the fade out halfway through the second "brother" if you know otherwise tell me please. In fact most tracks are single length and Funky Stuff/More Funky Stuff have also undergone a disco type mixing that results in them being slightly shorter then usual the album charted #208 Pop.
