| Olynpus Coliseum (Revisited) |
| It's time to revist Olympus Coliseum where the Underdrome is back in business, causing Hades to make unreasonable demands. This time he wants Sora to take part in the Hades Cup. This seems reasonable for Hades, until it becomes apparent that Auron is acting strangely. Find out what's up with Auron, then turn the tables on Hades. The Hades Cup The Hades Cup is similar but also different in a couple of ways. Once Hades' scheme is revealed, talk to Pain to register for the first round of battle. When you enter the arena, simply defeat all the various monsters that spawn throughout the arena. Expect more reinforcements to arrive as the first group is defeated. To win the round, you must defeat all the monsters on the field. Once you finish the semi-finals, then the fun really begins! You must follow Auron and after a scene you must talk with him. Then you must go to Hades' Chamber to retrieve the statue that contains Auron's soul. Then rush back to Pain to help out Hercules, free Auron, and to take on Hades. Hades HP: 1230 Damage Weapons - Normal damage Fire - No damage Blizzard - 1/2 damage Thunder - 1/2 damage Dark - 1/2 damage Other - 1/2 damage Finally, it is time to put Hades in his place once and for all! This battle takes place in Hades' very own coliseum, the Underdrome! Begin the battle with an all-out offensive attack. Although you cannot inflict any damage, the faster you attack the faster you'll learn how to counter Hades' invulnerability. After a short cut-scene, Hercules joins the fight. It seems that Hades is invulnerable to attacks while he's in flame mode. But you can knock him out of it by swatting one of Hercules' Aura Spheres at him. Use the Reaction Command of the same name to send the bubble flying towards Hades. This douses the dangerous fires, enabling Sora to inflict damage. Goody and Auron make a powerful team. Start off with Auron's Overdrive as soon as Hades isn't in flame mode. This should allow the maximum amount of time to inflict damage on Hades. Afterwards, you Valor Form to increase your power and refill your MP for another Overdrive Limit. Any times Hades draws a circle of flame around his body, jump away and run to the nearest Aura Sphere. This move inflicts damage and puts Hades into flame mode. Hades can also summon a ball of flame that hovers overhead, creating flaming hot spots on the ground. Focus on Hades and don't let the flames become a distraction. One key to winning this fight is to remember to knock the Aura Spheres back into Hades to make him exit flame mode. For winning this battle, Sora gets a +10 MP boost and the Counterguard skill, Donald gets an extra Accessory slot, Goofy gets a +5 HP boost, and Auron gets a +15 HP boost. After the fight, the party wins the Guardian Soul Keyblade, too! Now it's time to head on over to Agrabah to make sure Abu & Iago have been behaving themselves. |
