HOT FUDGE PUDDING CAKE

1¼ cups all purpose flour

¾ cup sugar

2 Tbs. unsweetened cocoa

1½ Tsp. baking powder

½ Tsp. salt

½ cup milk

2 Tbs. butter, melted

1 Tsp. vanilla

1 cup sugar

2 Tbs. unsweetened cocoa & dash of salt

1 1/3 cups water heated to 115-120*

whipped cream or favorite flavor of ice cream

Preheat oven to 350*. Lightly spoon flour into measuring cup; level off. In small bowl, combine flour, ¾ cup sugar, 2 Tbs. cocoa, baking powder, & ½ Tsp. salt. Stir in milk, margarine & vanilla extract until well blended, spread in ungreased 9-in round or square pan or baking dish.

In small bowl, combine sugar, cocoa, & salt; sprinkle evenly over cake batter. Pour hot water over sugar mixture. Bake for 35-45mins or until center is set & firm to the touch. Serve warm with whpped cream of favorite ice cream.
