Halftime Steak Sandwiches

2 tbsps. olive oil
1 lb. sirloin steak strips
1 large onion, cut in half and sliced
2 tbsps. chipolte pepper sauce
� tsp. sugar
4 hero rolls
1 cup grated cheese
1 large tomato, sliced (optional)
Lettuce leaves, sliced olives, hot peppers (optional)

In large skillet over medium-high heat, heat 1 tbsps. oi. Add steak and saute for 3 to 5 minutes until desired doneness is reached. Using a slotted spoon, remove beef from pan and set aside.
Add remaining oil, cook onions for 3 mins. Stir in chipotle pepper sauce and sugar; cook 3 mins longer until onions are tender, stirring occasionally.
To serve, cut rolls crosswise in half and place on tin foil-lined cookie sheet. Top bottom halves of rolls with cooked beef slices. Spoon onion mixture on top of beef. Sprinkle cheese on top and place under broiler for 1 min to allow cheese to melt.
Garnish with sliced tomato, lettuce, olives and hot peppers, if desired.
