1 cup whipped vegetable shortening
1 cup packed light brown sugar
� cup peanut butter
3 large egg whites
2 cups all-purpose flour

Preheat the oven to 375*. Lightly grease 2 baking sheets.
In a large bowl, cream the vegetable shortening & brown sugar. Beat in the peanut butter. Beat in the egg whites. Gradually blend in the flour.
Pinch off 1-in pieces of dough & roll into balls. Place the balls 1�-in apart on the prepared baking sheets. Using the tines of a fork, flatten the balls to �-in thick.
Bake for 8-10mins, until lightly colored. Transfer to wire racks to cool.
