1¾ cups sifted all-purpose flour
2 cups sugar
¾ cup cocoa
1½ Tsp. baking soda
1½ Tsp. baking powder
1 Tsp. salt
2 eggs
1 cup milk
½ cup vegetable oil
2 Tsp. vanilla
1 cup boiling water

Preheat oven to 350*. Lightly grease 1-2 cake pans.
Combine dry ingredients in large bowl. Add remaining ingredients except boiling water. Beat until smooth & creamy. Add boiling water. Batter will be thin.
Pour into cake pan(s). Bake for 30-40 mins, or until toothpick inserted in center comes out clean. Cool 10 mins on rack. Remove from pans; cool completely.
