1 cup sifted all-purpose flour
¼ cup unsifted whole wheat flour
½ Tsp. baking soda
¼ cup unsalted margarine
¼ cup granulated sugar
¼ cup firmly packed light brown sugar
1 large egg
1 large egg white
3 Tsps. vanilla extract
1oz. semisweet chocolate

Preheat the oven to 375*. In a small bowl, combine both flours & baking soda & set aside. In a large bowl, beat the margarine & both sugars until smooth & creamy; then beat both egg combos & vanilla extract. Mix in the dry ingredients & the chocolate. Drop the dough by rounded Tspfuls onto ungreased baking sheets, spacing the cookies 2-inch apart. Bake for 8-10mins or until lightly browned around the edges.Remove to wire racks to cool.
