CHINESE SPARERIBS

5 lbs. spareribs
2 cloves garlic, minced
2 Tbs. catsup
2 Tbs. soy sauce
2 Tbs. hoisin sauce
2 Tbs. red wine
1 Tbs. grated fresh ginger, or 1 Tsp. dried ginger
1 Tbs. honey

Preheat oven to 300*. Cut spareribs into individual ribs. Place on a rack in a baking pan; bake for 45 min.
Combine remaining ingredients in a small bowl. Brush this sauce lightly onto spareribs. Roast ribs another 30 min.
Turn ribs & brush them with sauce. Bake another 30 min, until well browned.
