Speedy Cerviche- The leader of the Smurai Pizza Cats... and also the shortest. He has a special attack called the Cat's Eye Slash. This attack has many name variations. His Japanese name is Yattarou. Polly Ester is the only female Samurai Pizza Cat. Most SPC fans choose her over the other Pizzacats. Her Japanese name is Pururun.
Guido Anchovy is my personal faveortie. His Japanese name (Sukashii) is a word for "Show Off". Guido and Speedy often fight over Lucille, but Guido is the cat that usually tries to get the ladies- or animals, as the case may be.
Francine Manx is manager of the Pizzacat Emporium (I think that's what it was called.) She likes money... and in one episode, she falls in love with Bucky, the deer. Ah... You really should see that episode. Her name is a variation of "Tama", a popular name for cats in Japan. The makers added an "O" to make a more unique name- "Otama"
Seymour "Big" Cheese head drag queen- ah, I mean head honcho. Whenever he gets angry, he blows a fuse! His Japanese name is Kon no Kami, meaning "Lord Fox's Bark". Don't bother with it and just call him KonKon! In the U.S. dub, Seymour is a Rat/Mouse, but he is a fox in the Japanese version of the show.
Jerry Atric: Jerry Atric (geriatric) was once the leader of the Ninja Crows but is now too old, so he is KonKon's second hand man. He is bald underneath his funny helmet, and is in charge of building KonKon's giant robots.
Bad Bird is the leader of the Ninja Crowes. Bad Bird is by far one of the coolest characters...next to KonKon of course...he was once an ordinary crow, his dad was Super Bad Bird and trained Bad Bird in ninjitsu. He hopes one day to be as evil as his father, but even though he seems bent on evil and destruction, he is often sad and thinks of his childhood girlfriend Carla, and hides a heart of virtue under his dark feathers. His Japanese name, Karamaru, means "scrunched up".
Rude Noise is a group of 4 ninja crowes similar to the Rescue Team...only much more evil. They were employed by Jerry Atric to take care of the Pizza Cats. They are Crow Magnon; the leader with an eyepatch, Ron the tough acting little shrimp, Cannon Battalay; Who is General Catton's lookalike and actalike, and finally Mojo Rojo, the swordsman of the group. He proves some people just don't look good in red!
Lucille is the owner of a tea shop and has captured the hearts of both Speedy and Guido. Guido and Speedy think she's the Cat's meow. Whenever she gets emotional, she blows her top, and everything around her. Her Japanese name is Omitsu (Japanese for honey), but everyone calls her "Mi-chan".
Princess Vi:(as in Violet..er..violent, a parody of Diana) is the daughter of Fred and Freda, she acts sweet and innocent, but usually acts like a big brat. She gets angry very quickly and has no patience, but she is curious and gets into too much trouble. She has a crush on Bad Bird. Her Japanese name (Usa-hime) means Bunny Princess.
'Big Al' Dente is one of the lords and advisors of Emperor Fred. He is the Pizza Cats superior and often calls on their help to foil a plot of Big Cheese's simply because Big Cheese is higher ranked than him. Big Al is a samurai and therefore uses a big blade and a gruff voice to do his fighting. His Japanese name is Wankoh and is like "woof-doggie".
Emperor Fred is the wacky Emperor of little Tokyo, he always carries a fan in the design of the Japanese flag and says nothing but "Fah-red". He's a looney! His court officials rule Little Tokyo for him. No one is sure why he went wacko, but he was once a normal panda! His Japanese name (Tokugawa) is a spoof of the founder of the Tokugawa Period in Japan's history. He did crazy things and so does Fred! Coincidence? I think not!
Guru Lou is a genius professor who has a slew of odd weapons and strnage contraptions. He helps the pizza cats occasionally, he helped open the way to the giant robot, "The Great Catatonic". He once helped Speedy find his inner strength when Speedy was being defeated by Bad Bird. Lou here has an appetite like no other...but seeing as how he's a hippo it's to be expected!
Mama-san and son- They don't seem to like the cats... but just like the rest of the show... they're funny!
Sundance: The New York Pizzacat with the seven chamber revolver. Speedy's Counterpart.
Dee-dee:Now this is why this episode was banned from the U.S.. Let's just say her Japanese name was Madonna for a good reason!
Cosmopolis: Guido's counterpart. He welcomed Polly to New York pretty well.
Lucinda: Lucille's counterpart. But instead of a barrage of missiles, she uses an automatic gatling gun.
Abigail: Francine's American counterpart...guiding the pizza cats into battle!
Carla: Bad Bird wasn't always known as Bad Bird. He was once Birdy, and his girlfriend was a crow named Carla
Bucky: Most animals don't approve of interspecies dating. Well, Francine still went out with this deer for an episode. However, the date came to an abrupt end when Bucky was "attacked" by a gender bender butterfly and, well... was gender bent.
