Some time late last year there was the beginings of a legend they went by the name of Nataku. However this band only contained a few of the current band members. Nataku was made up of Ben Haynes, Daniel Passingham, Chris Atkin, Al Hewit and Angry Shaun (the surname escapes me). Soon after the band formed Shaun for undisclosed reasons had to leave the band. But soon enough Nataku came across the talents of a young girl who goes by the name of Hollie Walsh. Hollie brought along her guitarist friend Terry Thomson to a practice as he wanted to hear what the band sounded like. Terry liked the atmosphere and sound of the band and came to the next band practice. Not long after, Ben had to leave the band due to personal differences and Daniel decided he would go with him. So we had Al on drums Chris on guitar Terry on guitar and Hollie on vocals but no BASSIST! So off we went in search of a bassist and soon enough we found Nick Edwards. We all decided that a new name was in order and Nick eventually came up with Average Superheroes. Nick stayed with the band for several months and put in a lot of ideas and improvements to the band. Unfortunately Nick had another band, Destroying Dan who were his main focus so he no longer had time for the heroes. So once again we went off in search of a new bassist. After a while of hunting we found Mike Crosby who joined the band a week before the bands 1st gig and despite only having 2 practices with us he was ready and raring to go and perform. The Band was complete and the heroes were born!!! |
