Ch.1 Itsa house.

We are so damn lost, Heero! Duo fell back into the passengers seat of the van. We seriously need to pull over and ask for directions.
If you havent noticed, there isnt a place to stop off, Heero retorted, keeping his eyes on the road this dark, rainy evening.

Duo huffed and sighed, then stared out the window.  He couldnt believe Quatre got them all into a mission together again.  It was a cold, stormy, night and no one was liking the mission.  The mission, however, was very important.
Quatre received notice of a biological warfare threat that was located in Hope, British Columbia, Canada.  Supposedly, two nuclear bombs were illegally being stored at a plant there, and the Earth Sphere Unified Nations wasnt going to allow the bombs to be held there any longer than possible.
It was Quatres brilliant plan that all the pilots should get together for this, considering it had been four years since the Mariemeia incident and no one had seen eachother since then.  It had taken a lot of effort on Quatres part.

Quatre, how far away are we from Hope? Heero calmly asked.

There was no response.

Quatre? Heero asked again, and looked into his rear view mirror.

Quatre was leaning on Trowas shoulder, sleeping.  The map was flopped on his lap, and ready to fall to the floor.  Trowa had his head against the glass window, eyes closed.

Heero turned to Duo and said, Grab the map, Duo.  Then find out how far away we are.
Why do I have to do it, huh?  You know I cant read maps that well.
Just do it.
Dont tell me to do stuff!

Wufei, who sat all the way in the back by himself, was growing irritated with Duos whining.  However, he didnt think Heero should be bossing him around like that either.

Duo, Ill do it, Wufei finally volunteered, grabbing the map from Quatres lap.
Duo stopped complaining and turned around.  Really?  Thanks Wu-man.
Wufei put his reading glasses on, then turned on the back light. Hn.

After a few moments, Wufei tossed the map aside and looked up towards the front of the van.  Theres no telling where we are.  I havent seen a significant road signal or sign anywhere.

Heero let out a light sigh in reply and continued driving for what seemed like an hour, but was only twenty minutes.  Duo fell asleep, and even Heeros eyes were starting to close from exhaustion.

Abruptly, Wufei exclaimed, Stop!

Everyone except Duo and Quatre snapped awake.  Heero pushed the brakes hard, and came to a sliding stop.  Trowa quietly turned around and stared at Wufei, waiting for an answer.  Heero did the same.

Up the road, about twenty feet, was all Wufei said.

Heero peered through the glass, and spotted a dark, triangular shaped object that looked about the size of a house.  He sat back, and drove up slowly in the rain, and came to the front of the object.  It was indeed, a house.
There was a short road leading up to a porch surrounded by frail trees that blew in the wind, and a doorway that seemed to be so large that it must have two doors.  It was three stories high, with a small peak that poked out of the right side of the house.  The house appeared forty years old, but in remarkably good condition.

Heero gawked at this giant spectacle in the middle of nowhere.  Itsa house.
