G Gundam is set in F.C. 60, meaning "Future Century". The Gundam fight is held every four years, as a way to determine who gets to govern space. Also, it is to prevent world wars. Something is different this year, however. Domon Kasshu is fighting to bring back the honor of his family by finding and destroying the Devil Gundam, which his brother supposedly pilots. He meets companions along the way, and even some old friends. All around, the story is cool buy very silly, which is great because it gives us Gundam fans a chance to lighten up. ^_^ However, there are many serious and sad times too.
Additionally, the piloting system is different. It's a special system that requires the pilot to wear a spandex-like material that has sensors in it. It's called a MobileTrace System and it makes it so that whatever the pilot does, the Gundam does. |
