Baloo waved goodbye as Mowgli ran off through the jungle. "See ya, tiger!" he called, smiling after his little red-loinclothed friend. Bagheera had warned Baloo to keep watch over Mowgli while he did some hunting, but of course, after a whole afternoon of goofing off around the stream, Mowgli was bored and had succeeded in guilting Bagheera to let him run off by himself for a bit.
"I'll see you, Bagheera!" Mowgli yelped as he jumped over roots and dodged past vines. He began to get tired, and sat down in a bed of moss to catch his breath. He closed his eyes, leaned against a soft tree and breathed in the warm smells of the jungle. A voice caught his attention.
"What a sssurprissse!"
Mowgli bolted up quickly and turned to see who was speaking. He couldn't see anyone around him. "Hello? Who's there?"
Kaa smiled and lowered himself from the branches where he had been watching the delicious mancub. "Ssalutationss" he said, licking his lips.
Mowgli was still only a boy, but he wasn't naive enough to believe the snake was as friendly as he seemed. He backed away slowly, asking "What do you want?" Kaa halted his slow descent on the boy, looking hurt.
"What do I want? Why, do I look like I'd want to eat you?"
Mowgli was blunt: "Yes." Kaa's mind was working furiously to get his coils around the boy.
"I only want to be your friend, mancub, is that so wrong? I know we could have a lot of fun together...you looked like you were bored." Mowgli was skeptical, but a small part of him was curious about just what Kaa could do with Mowgli in his coils. Kaa recognized Mowgli's look of interest, and gingerly let the tip of his tail snake down the trunk of the tree, across the ground, and up around Mowgli's leg. Mowgli shivered at the contact. He was petrified, yet intrigued by the seductive way Kaa was talking to him. His red briefs seemed to grow tighter around his crotch. "It would be jussst me and you...I could wrap you in my coilss and hide you away from everyone", Kaa said with a voice like liquid, his eyes ready to entrance. Mowgli staggered backwards, stammering "I don't..know..Kaa.." Kaa took advantage of the mancub's weak moment and let his eyes turn to spiraling colors as he backed Mowgli into a tree, so he couldn't run away. His tail started to slide around Mowgli's legs and up to his waist. Mowgli felt himself growing entranced and distracted by the gentle caresses of Kaa's tail and the beautiful colors that engulfed his mind. Suddenly, he shook himself awake, snapped his eyes shut, ducked under the coils not yet tightened around him and ran blindly away. Kaa cursed, and slipped smoothly above the branches to pursue the boy.
Mowgli ran in a blind panic, tripping over roots, yet trying to get as far away from Kaa as he could. Finally, after what seemed like hours of running through the jungle, he stopped and sank against a tree, his chest heaving and sweating like crazy. His mind was still racing with what could have happened to him a few moments before.
He was giving a sigh of relief when a familiar voice caught his attention. It was Kaa, singing slow and seductively, "Go to ssleeep.. pleassse go to ssleeep...sssleep little mancub..resst in peeacce". Mowgli's thoughts started to cloud over. Kaa wasted no time in drawing himself closer to the boy, assaulting him with brilliant hypnotic colors. His coils slid around the mancub's boyish body, snaking around his waist a couple times to be safe, and slipping off his briefs. The coils tightened around his naked body, and Kaa drew his eyes as close as he could to the boy's to draw him completely under his power. Mowgli's mind became as blank as a slate; all he could do was enjoy the sleek tightness of Kaa's coils around his nude body and stare back into Kaa's eyes, feeling the full brunt of Kaa's hypnotic power. Kaa smiled greedily, and drew the helpless boy up into the branches for his own sinister purposes.
