Recently redesigned, this 7,052-yard course
just east of the city was the venue for the 1997 Asian Honda Classic tournament
and the 1998 Johnnie Walker Super Tour Tournament. Its superb layout
and challenging fairways ensure it is destined to serve as the setting
for future premier Asian tournaments. Course architect Dennis Griffiths
created a course which features immaculate fairways and greens laid out
according to a neo-classic design. To enhance its beauty and improve play,
seashore paspalum grass was imported from Hawaii. The 18-hole course offers
five different climatic zones, each with its own flora, and terrain challenges.
In keeping with the quality of the course, the clubhouse facilities are
opulent, offering a wide range of activities o satisfy even the most demanding
golfer.
