Pinehurst Golf and Country Club
   Home to the 1992 Johnnie Walker Classic, this 27-hole championship course is situated just and hour north of Bangkok. Designed by famed architect Yoshihara Aihara, Pinehurst offers three, nine-hole courses, Each is par 36; you play two of the three. The 3,453-yard Northern Course (Lake Course), is designed in a similar style to courses in the US, with many water hazards and a difficult, 622-yard, par five, 8th hole. Set amongst rolling hills, the Middle (Greenfield) Course was designed in the Scottish fashion and is particularly good for chippers. Lined with trees, the Forest, or West Course challenges golfer's ability to read angles. From the clubhouse, you can look out over a beautiful, uninterrupted view of trees and lakes. The clubhouse offer fine dining , a swimming pool, a sauna, massage, tennis courts, and snooker tables.
