Curriculum:

The student knows the difference between living organisms and nonliving
objects. The student is expected to:

(A) identify a particular organism or object as living or nonliving; and
(B) group organisms and objects as living or nonliving.

How to:

This lesson is the first of two lessons about living organisms.
Before start this lesson, Ask the kids questions like:

Does a rock need to eat ? why does not ?

Does a cow need to eat ?

Does a rock grow ? Does a cow grow ?

Can a rock feel cold and warm ?

Can a rock have baby rock ? Can a cow have baby ?

Explain to the kids that a rock is not a living thing but a cow is. A
living thing need to eat and drink. also living things can grow and
reproduce to have babies. when the surroundings changes, they can feel it.
By walking the kids through this Virtual Tour, Explain to the kids that there are
many kinds of living things which can be grouped together in a certain way.
