A/N: I'm making Red-Eyes a girl, you were warned. Pairings: Jou/Kaiba Blue-Eyes/Red-Eyes Dragon Rain By Koneko Shido. Katsuya Jounouchi walked along through the pouring rain, whistling to himself. Although all around him heaven's little bout of drama continued to soak the world, he remained perfectly dry; not a drop of water touched him. The reason for this was his companion, who was walking slowly along beside him with one, huge wing spread out like an umbrella over the human, catching the heavy drops of rain. Red-Eyes Black Dragon liked the rain. It made her black scales slick and shiny, and cleaned all the dust away. Plus, it made the world smell nice, like pine needles and water. Jou liked it too, but he wasn't so keen on getting soaked to the skin. It was fine, though, because Red-Eyes' wing was sheltering him just lovely, and he got to stay dry while they walked across the grass. He wasn't exactly sure where they were going, he just liked to walk, and Red-Eyes was enjoying being let out of her card for a while. That was another good thing about rain this heavy; nobody else was out to see them. After a few more minutes of walking in comfortable silence, both listening to the sounds of the raindrops splashing onto the lush grass, Red-Eyes gave a questioning rumble, wanting to know where they were going. Jou looked up at her and shrugged, grinning, showing that he had absolutely no idea, but he didn't care anyway. Red-Eyes gave a rumbled sigh and rolled her crimson eyes at him. Her master was probably the most irresponsible person in the entire world, she thought. It was ok for her, because she was a dragon, but he was just a tiny little human, he could catch his death out in a storm like this. She was about to complain to him about this when he suddenly stopped and narrowed his eyes, looking at something ahead of them. Red-Eyes paused as well and followed his gaze, her eyes narrowing too when she spotted what Jou had been staring at. Up ahead of them was a small barrier of trees, hiding whatever might be on the other side. That in itself was nothing too strange, but above the tops of the trees Red-Eyes could see the tips of two, huge white wings glistening in the rain. "That's gotta be Blue-Eyes, right?" Jou hissed, and Red-Eyes nodded her head, crouching low and following as Jou walked quietly towards the trees. If Blue-Eyes was out, that meant Kaiba was too, and where Kaiba was concerned Jou just couldn't help sticking his nose in. He knew that if Kaiba saw him he'd get yelled at, but seeing what Kaiba was doing was worth it. "Keep your head down," Jou whispered to Red-Eyes as they snuck through the trees and hid, looking out at the great Seto Kaiba and his Blue-Eyed White Dragon. Kaiba stretched, letting the rain soak his hair and plaster his clothes to his lithe body. Blue-Eyes was watching him with half-lidded eyes, also enjoying the downpour running in tiny rivulets down his white scales, spreading his wings wide to let the rain clean them for him. It wasn't often Kaiba got a chance like this, to be alone in the rain without having to keep up his cold mask for the rest of Kaibacorp. The storm let him feel free, just once in a while when work got too much for him. He could let Blue-Eyes out and bring him down here to the very outskirts of his garden, which was so huge that his mansion wasn't even visible from this little secluded spot. Nobody could find him here, so he could do whatever he wanted. It was perfect, and he laughed softly, leaning against Blue-Eyes' leg and wiping a little water from his eyes. Jou watched Kaiba, amazed at how sexy the brunette looked when he was soaked to the skin, the first spark of lightening flashing in his deep blue eyes. Without even thinking, he stepped out from the trees and stood out in the open, still staring, not noticing that the rain still didn't touch him because Red-Eyes had stepped out with him to keep him sheltered. Kaiba looked up from watching the fat droplets of rain splash onto his open hands at a warning rumble from Blue-Eyes. The first thing the CEO noticed was that where a moment ago there had been nothing, there was now a huge, black dragon with glistening red eyes staring curiously at Blue-Eyes. And below the dragon, sheltered from the rain by one enormous wing, stood Jou. Kaiba was tempted to grin, but instead he replaced his mask and scowled, ignoring Red-Eyes and stalking right up to Jou. "What are you doing here, mutt?" Seto demanded, folding his arms across his chest. "Nothin' much, just walkin'. There a problem with that?" Jou grinned, wondering if Kaiba knew how adorable he looked when he was acting all tough and scowly, but was soaking wet and a little flushed from the rain. "You're on my land." Kaiba growled, trying very hard to ignore the way Jou was looking at him. "Sorry, didn't know. Got kinda lost. Anyway, ain't you got enough land? Why you so worried about this little bit?" Jou smirked. Kaiba growled at him. "That's none of your business, now get off my property before I have you shot." Kaiba hissed, enjoying himself. He liked talking to Jou, even if all they did was argue. He especially liked the way Jou scowled whenever Kaiba called him a dog. "Oh, I get it, this is your special spot, and I'm interrupting your 'commune with nature' time, right?" Jou laughed, sitting down on the wet grass. "Think I'll stick around, feel free to get on with whatever it was you were doin'." Kaiba frowned, glaring down at the insolent mutt. "Maybe I'll save the bullets and just have Blue-Eyes eat you." The brunette growled. Jou laughed happily, pointing behind the CEO. "Think you're gonna have a problem there." He smirked. Kaiba frowned in confusion and turned to find Blue-Eyes and Red-Eyes curled up together on the wet grass, rumbling softly as they talked to each other. The strangest thing was, Blue-Eyes had a wing wrapped around the black dragon protectively. "Oh, good lord..." Kaiba muttered, dragging a hand down his face in frustration. "Aww, ain't that cute?" Jou snickered, then abruptly reached up and pulled Kaiba down into his arms. The brunette gasped and struggled a little, unable to free himself. Actually, it wasn't so bad, but Jou didn't need to know that. "What the hell are you doing, mutt?!" He snarled, his eyes widening a little as Jou nuzzled his neck, laughing. "Snuggling? Hey, if they get to do it I don't wanna be left out, do you?" The blonde grinned gesturing with an elbow towards the two dragons. "Hey, you can't just-" Kaiba began, cut off suddenly by Jou jumping up and pinning him to the ground, leaning down over him. "I think you'll find I can." Jou grinned, then kissed the surprised CEO's soft lips. Kaiba thought about struggling; he could probably throw Jou off if he really wanted to. But then, he found that he didn't really want to, so he parted his lips for Jou's tongue instead. Red-Eyes and Blue-Eyes watched the two teenagers making out on the grass nearby. Red-Eyes rumbled to Blue-Eyes that it was about time those two got together. Blue-Eyes agreed. End.
