The translations are line for line... but i wouldn't risk anything great trying to make much sense of them.. The subtitles didn't do much justice to the dialogue and the subtitles were... at times, quite loosely translated... - two people stand hugging at the frontt of an apartment - scene changes to four men (one tightlly clutching a disk) driving along a mountain road. Four figures, each wearing masks leap onto the car and attack the passengers. The car starts swerving on the road. Michiru: I'm sorry Masato... Masato: It's okay... I'll go home first. Michiru: I'm Really sorry... I have to finish a paper today. Masato: You should relax too. Michiru: I can't... I... Masato: I know... because Michiru's the computer's lover right? Michiru: WHAT?! I... Masato: It's just a joke, don't get so worked up Michiru: heeh? __________ Michiru and Masato laugh - Scene changes back to teh car where the four passangers are being attacked. The disk falls to the floor of the car where one of the masked peoples reaches for it. It slips out of reach as the car starts skidding off of the mountain path. The four masked figures leap off of the car before it crashes. - Scene changes back to the couple Masato: Don't work too hard and don't be late for school. Michiru: Thanks! be careful! Masato (driving off): c'ya The car flies off of the ledge as Masato and Michiru look up in surprise. As michiru watches teh car flies off the ledge landing on Masato. A fire blazes where the bike was standing. Michiru: Masato... Masato... MASATO!!!!!!! ----------------------- MISSION 1: LOCKVOGEL ----------------------- - Pictures of the four people who wherre in the car when it crashed are taped to the wall. An axe comes flying and lands in the middle of one of the pictures. The four attackers, no longer masked, sit polishing their weapons one unmasked attacker is talking over the phone. Phone: This is different from our original agreement We only agreed to kill them. Getting the disk is extra. # 1: We're professional killers. If you want people to find stuff for you, get someone else Voice: Stop whining! an agreement is an agreement!. No disk, no money... got it? [he hangs up] # 1: damn [he crumples up the phone and throws it against a wall. # 2,3,4: Huh? # 2 [removes the axe from the wall and cuts across teh forehead of the picture still attached. He looks at the paper lying underneath the crumpled phone. A picture of michiru is visible. His eyes narrow as he remembers her from the car crash scene]: That's her! [he licks the blade and tosses the axe to land in the center of Michiru's picture] - Michiru and her friend are walking aalong a street. Friend: Cheer up Michiru! [Michiru doesnt reply]It seems kinda useless trying though... Several flower displays sit outside of a flowershop as girls croud around the entrance. Friend (happy): We're so~ lucky! Look! All four of them are here today! - Inside the flowershop, Aya, Omi, Kenn, and Yoji are visible Fangirl 1: We get to see all four of them at once! Fangirl B: Seems like something good's gonna happen today! [Momoe sits patiently petting her cat] Ken: Who's first? (he's immediately swarmed by girls) Omi is stuck in the middle of a "discussion" between two girls. Girl 1: Omi, let me help you! Omi: No... that's alright... Girl 2: No, I was helping Omi first! Girl 1: Me too! Ouka (taking plant from omi's hands): I want five of these. All of them for Omi. Girl 1 (quietly to girl 2): She's Sayaki Ouka! Girl 2: How annoying Girl 1: yea. Aya [irritated]: If you're not going to buy anything, LEAVE!!! Aya fangirls: WAH!!! HE"S SO COOL!!!! Ken [surrounded by girls] A litle help here, yoji! Yoji: I'll take care of the 18+... Omi can take care of the rest. Omi (still trying to detatch himself): WHAT?!?! [He notices Michiru standing alone outside the flowershop] What's wrong, Michiru-san? you look sad. Friend: Michiru's boyfriend died in a car accident... Yoji: Car accident? Friend: A car suddenly fell off the highway. [The peoples listening gasp in surprise.] A bundle of flowers are held to Michiru's face. She looks up in surprise: What's this? Omi: Katakuri. The flower word means Cheer up! [Michiru's Friend gasps and looks at Michiru] Omi: I know it's hard, but we all wish you well. Michiru (looks up and smiles): Thank you Omi-kun... it smells really nice... Ouka: Lucky you got flowers from Omi.[fangirls behind her agree] Yoji: Michiru actually buys flowers from us.... Ken: Unlike *SOME* people... Fangirls: WHAT?!?!?! [Watching across teh street in a black car is attacker 2. Nobody notices it drive away except for Aya who has an itense look in his face] - Screen flips on and a silouhette is visible Persia: Good day everyone... New mission. [pictures of the four attackers appear on teh screen] Persia: The tartet is Scarlet ___________ group. They learn killing skills around the world. They work as merchenaries for anyone who pays well. White hunters, hund down the black beasts of tomorrow. [screen flips off] Manx: Everybody in? - A pink flowershop scooter drives by a black car in front of a building. - Inside the building, Michiru is typiing on a laptop in a library. A pie-chart is visible on the screen. A document on WWII suddenly appears with a reflection of Masato. Michiru: Masato... [the picture fades] Michiru (crying): Masato.. Why did you have to die?! WHy did such things have to happen to him?! [Michiru gasps and starts typing again. A news bulletin appears. She scans the document...] What... this is it... In the car were news reporters from the east press.... [A noise behind her causes her to jump] Who'se there? [She continues reading. [A figure moves behind her and she jumps out of her seat] Who'se there? Is anyone there? [She packs her books in a hurry and rushes out. In the halls, she starts screaming.] Let Go!... oh.. sorry.... A man with dark hair and glasses is gripping her wrists. Kimura: Sorry to have scared you. She stops struggling and gasps. Masato's face appears and blends into Kimura's features. Kimura: Are you alright? You're not hurt? Michiru (blushing): Yes.. i'm alright -At a coffee shop Kimura: Oh.. so that's what happened. I saw that article too.. four reporters fell... actually, after they were killed, the car fell from the highway. Michiru: Why were they killed? Kimura: Maybe they had some secret and they needed to escape. Maybe someone thought if the secret got out, it would distroy them so they killed them. Michiru: Then the secret is? Kimura: I don't know but it should be inportant enough to kill for but then that's odd... Michiru: What's odd? Kimura: Only the four bodies were found at the scene. There should have been some kind of recording like a disk or a laptop Michiru: Now that you mention int... [the scene changes to where Masato died in the car crash. The image focuses on the disk next to her.] Kimura: Maybe it's the key to the truth Michiru: Key to the truth... Kimura: Can you let me help you? (Michiru blinks and gasps) Because the reporters were killed for it, so... (Michiru gasps (again) and Kimura nods) ... I'm Kimura Akiko... don't worry, I'll protect you <:P> Michiru: I'm... Kimura: I know already.. famous student hacker Michiru _____ Michiru: How do you know my name? Kimura: You're very famous at school... the young champion contest, genius of the time Michiru: DOn't call me a genious. Kimura (laughing) Oh, Michiru-san's not one for compliments eh? (both laugh) I'm sorry!... (continues laughing) - the black car outside the building ddrives away outside the coffee shop window. The pink scooter sits across the road Yoji stands hunched over the scooter as though getting something from teh back and watches the car drive away. - Michiru sits at home examining the disk Michiru: four people wer killed because of this disk [she pops it into her laptop and clicks on the icon on her computer screen. A password screen pops up] Password?... If only i knew what they were investigating... Michiru sighs as the doorbell rings. Kimura stands outside the door holding a folder Michiru: Kimura-kun! Kimura: I have a friend who works at the newspaper. Everything's here.. the profiles of the reporters and what they were investigating before. Michiru: Great! Kimura; Maybe we can find some ind of clue in here. YOu should look too. Michiru (thinking) so they were investigating the energy problems.. let's see.... Across the table, light flashes off Kimura's glasses - Morning, Michiru is asleep at her coomputer, a note drops into her mailbox. She waks up and gasps when she reads the note. Michiru: This is... - At a coffee shop Kimura (reading the note): If you want to know the truth, then come to Villa White on April 8th. Michiru: WHat do you think? Kimura: It's... suspicious Michiru: But i want to go. Kimura (startled) But it'll be dangerous! Michiru (eagerly) Because Kimura-kun gave me the courage i need... and because i want to know the truth... but only if you'll come with me.... Kimura (smiling): Of course i'll go with you Michiru (happy): thank you so much! I'll go get ready then! Michiru gets up and leaves as Kimura holds up the note frowning. - A car teredges through snow and stopps in front of a cottage Michiru: Villa White... IT's here. [She starts up the steps to the cottage] Kimura: Be careful! We don't know what kind of place this is. [They slowly open the door.] Michiru peeks in and gasps turning, scared, to Kimura. Kimura turns to the sound of footsteps. Omi runs up behind them Omi: I"m sorry! are you alright? Michiru: You're... Omi: Eh? Michiru... isn't it? Michiru: Omi-kun Yoji and Ken appear behind her in the doorway Yoji: What is it Omi? Ken: Michiru-san, what are you doing here? Michiru (pulls out the note): Because someone left me this note. Yoji (Surprised): Isn't this the letter i wrote? [Aya peeks over his shoulder] Ken! You gave this to the wrong person! Ken: I told you not to write such weird letters. Yoji: Why you..... Michiru: um... what truth were you talking about? Ken (calmly walking inside): Ah.. that's just Yoji's way of lying to pick up girls. Yoji (running after ken): i told you it's not lying! because the past met the future... Aya (to Michiru): That seems like the truth you seek. Michiru gasps with a horrified expression on her face Omi: We're here on vacation, I'm sorry if Yoji-kun caused you any trouble. Michiru collapses where she stands. Kimura: These people are...? Michiru: Guys who work at a flower shop by my place Aya: Stay. Michiru: eh? Omi: Yeah, you guys came all this way Yoji: Although I don't like the fact you brought a guy, but.. can't be helped, it's all Ken's fault Ken: It's your own! Michiru (to kimura) What do you think? It seems like we don't have a choice... Omi: Ha~i, Tow guests are staying tonight~ Yoji (casually placing an arm over Michiru's shoulders): Come in, come in... Kimura looks at Ken and Aya Aya: Did you notice anything weird? Kimura: No... it's nothing. - Late in the evening, Oi, Yoji, Kimurra, and Michiru are sittng around a fire... they are all laughing. Yoji: ... and then Omi accidently fell and went head-first under the girl's skirt [Michiru and Kimura continue laughing] Omi: Only because Ken watered too much! Yoji: Just take that as the truth! Omi: That IS the truth. Michiru (to Yoji) It seems like all my troubles fade when I'm with you guys Yoji: But Ken and Aya are so Slow (____?) Omi: They only went out to buy some junk food... There's nothing to get all upset about [His cell phone rings] Heh? Hello? ah! Ken-kun!... ahh..... yes... i see... Yoji: WHat did he say? Omi (pocketing the phone): Their car broke down so they need help Yoji: Such trouble makers Omi: We'll be right back Michiru waves as they leave. MIchiru steps outside on the balcony and stretches. Kimura follows her out as she leans comfortably against the railing. Michiru: It's been awhile since I've felt this relaxed Kimura I hate to burst your bubble... but we should still try to solve the password Michiru: That's true... [A star flies across the sky] A shooting star! beautiful, isn't it? It's just a falling shard but it's still beautiful Kimura: It's because i'm with you Michiru: Eh? They stand "gazing" at each other (presumably about to kiss) when Michiru gasps and runs inside the house Michiru: That's it! Kimura: What's wrong? Michiru (opening her laptop): That's it! Stardust! They were investigating it, let me try it out Kimura: You're right! that should be it. Michiru types DUST onto the password box on her computer. The file opens. Michiru: It's encoded [she types frantically and a flow chart appears] This is.... [beside her, Kimura's face contorts into one of the four attackers] the structural ladder to the energy waste plan and the head of the organization is the energy minister! Kimura: Congratulations Michiru: Huh? [She turns causing her to barely avoid a flying axe that scrapes her face. A trickle of blood flows from her cheek.] Kimura (retrieving the axe): As you can tell, if this information was to get out, the energy minister would be ruined. That's why the reporters were killed using professional assasins. Thanks for decoding the password The other four attackers appear as Michiru falls to the floor trying back away as they close in on her laughing maniacly. Kimura: No wonder people call you a hacking genius [He puts on his mask] At least we have it because we wanted to know what was in it too. #2?: We can ask for any amount of ransom as long as we know what's in it (sound of slap as Michiru cries out) Michiru: You lied ot me? Kimura: The ones in the world that belive in lies die first #3?: We'll let you pick a weapon that you see most fit to kill you with. Michiru continues backing away (now standing) She knocks her head on the top of a bunk-bed and falls inside Kimura?: It doesn't matter how loud you scream, this is an isolated place in the mountains. No one will come to save you and when those people return, all that will be left is your corpse Michiru (crying): no... An attacker leaps to attack her. In the shadows, Omi, Ken, Aya, and Yoji listen in. THe light goes out in the cabin as Michiru stumbles trying to get away from teh four targets. Feathers fly as one of the attackers swipe open the billow on the bed. Michiru is seen jumping over the balcony outside the house. Attacker: She got away! after her! A dart comes flying and nails one of teh attackers in the heart where he falls dead A wire swings around another attacker as Yoji catches the other end and strangles another attacker. Yoji: The consequesnces for causing a girl to cry are severe. Never forget that. [He lifts the attacker that was killed by the wire and runs outside] Omi gives Yoji a thumbs-up from a treetop. Michiru is seen running through the field as an attacker runs after her Attacker: This way! [He dives on top of her tryin to kill her when she pulls off a wig to reveal ken. Ken kills the attacker as he falls.] ...what? Kimura stands at the bottom of a snow-covered hill as Aya stands at the top looking down on him Kimura: Who are you?! Aya: Weiß, White hunters Kimura: You used that girl as bait Aya: THe ones in the world who believe in lies die first, right? Kimura bares his axe and charges Aya. Aya pulls out his katana and kills Kimura in one stroke, splitting his mask in half. - In the morning, Michiru wakes and craawls out of the closet were she had been hiding and sees the body hanging by the wire outside the cabin. Gasping, she pulls out the disk from her laptop and runs outside. She sees another attacker lying on the ground with a dart buried in his chest. She screams as her voice echoes across the countryside. In the distance, half of Kimura's mask that was split by Aya blows by. - At the flowershop, the news is playinng on a TV screen Reporter: yesterday, the nuclear waste ______ Omi (on the phone): __________________________ Michiru: Katakuri - the flower word means cheer up. Omi gasps as they all turn to see her sitting at a table in front of the shop Omi, Ken, Aya, Yoji: Michiru-san! Michiru: ______________ (she holds up the flowers to Aya's startled face) Aya: er.... Ken, Omi, and Yoji all laugh as Michiru giggles. ~owari~
