| At the time Hank Aaron was chasing the Babe's record, Wayland Moore, an internationally know sports artists was working with Paul at Design Studios in Atlanta. At this time in history Wayland Moore was art director for the Braves. Above, Paul Nichols holds the autographed copy of the Burger King advertisement that was signed and given him by Mr. Moore prior to the breaking of the record. |
| PauPaul shared his feelings with the KOM League website in these words: "It is a very interesting story in my life to have a chain of events come about. I had the Aaron Chases the Babe art before he broke the record. I developed the fence design with no thought in mind the 714th ball would go over it, and break the Babe's record.
