Chanute Owls- A's and Giants: Ross Grimsley Sr., and Jake Thies.
Carthage Cardinals and Cubs: Cloyd Boyer, Bob Habenitch, Bob Mahoney and Bob Speake. Carthage catcher in 1947, Eddie Vargo was a longtime National League umpire.
Iola Indians: Bill Upton.
