Full of musical instruments in my house. Why?
DANCE BANDS ABROAD

How about dance bands outside Japan? Just found some bands in US. One of most accessed web site is:

May Palmer band in Seattle: http://www.gigmasters.com/LiveBand/MayPalmer/

May Palmer was influenced by: Ella Fitzgerald, Nat King Cole, Frank Sinatra, Carmen MacCrae, Etta James, Stevie Wonder, Marvin Gaye, Smokey Robinson, The Beatles, Phoebe Snow, Melissa Manchester, Donna Summer, Diane Schuur, & Anita Baker

May Palmer band's GENRE:

30's Hits, 40's Hits, 60's Hits, 70's Hits, Big Band, Blues, Cabaret, Dance, Disco, Gospel, Jazz, Motown, Pop, R&B, Soul, Swing

Interesting to know her band's song list covers most of those from our band's repertory. Listen to some of its audio files, and you will know May Palmer has very deep voice just like a gospel singer. Her band is highly appreciated with 5 stars given by clients.

Very interesting fact is that her band is a pretty small one with merely 5 players including herself.

Dance bands can occur in small size. For example, Robert Goldstick makes his band by himself, as a one-man band.

So it seems the band I belong to is rather big in size. And it might go without saying that dance band had better be COMPACT to move from client to client.
