18th Peking Hall stage of The Compact
Nov.19, 2006: 18th stage at Peking Hall. Rained. Small number of couples danced when we started. Later more people came. Some tunes we have been playing here for long were really nice. Relaxed and enjoyable. Such as: - Never On Sunday: Flute-Piano (tone#017) one after another. Octave piano gave nice sound to this tune. - All Of Me: Already part of us. Seems all of us always like enjoying playing this. Some newly enlisted numbers need more improvement like: - And I Love Her: Loosing harmony around change in key from Em to Fm. Lead guitar might be a bit too strong than ever because it's trying to keep rhythm instead of drums. Its tone shall be more beautiful if only the guitar be checked up. Woodwinds are partly OK and partly expected to have more practice with more attention paid on tone/sound. So many to do, for Piano/KB, of course. 2006-11-20 00:58:08 GMT
